Station 2 serves as the focal point and central command center for all matters pertaining to the WFD. It represents the beating heart of our firefighting organization, where a myriad of crucial activities and essential functions converge.

Station 2 is not merely a physical location; it embodies the nerve center of our operations, orchestrating and coordinating every facet of the WFD's multifaceted mission. Within its walls, a symphony of activities unfolds, ranging from emergency response coordination to strategic planning, resource management, and personnel training.

As the hub of our firefighting universe, Station 2 plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of the WFD. It is here that critical decisions are made, emergency dispatches are initiated, and strategies are crafted to safeguard our communities. Moreover, Station 2 serves as the repository of institutional knowledge, housing archives of firefighting history, protocols, and lessons learned from generations of dedicated firefighters.

The personnel assigned to Station 2 are responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the facility itself, as well as a roster of essential firefighting apparatus. Heavy Rescue 8126, Ladder Tower 8122, Engine 8120, Utility 8129, Tanker 8123, and both boat units are among the vital firefighting units stationed at this location.
