STATION 2

Where is Station 2?

Fire Station 2, which was originally situated on Oak Street between Main and Second, had a significant role in the early days of the Washington Volunteer Fire Company. Established on March 10th, 1907, it proudly housed the first-ever Hook and Ladder truck for the WFD.

However, the physical presence of Station 2 has since vanished. In 1994, the esteemed aerial truck was relocated to its current residence at Headquarters, where Section 2 and its valuable assets continue to serve the community with utmost dedication and proficiency.
