Professional Volunteer Service since 1852.

The Company's volunteer firefighters provide the manpower for calls to the Washington Fire Department and the Washington Community Fire District. The Washington Volunteer Fire Company responds to approximately 600 calls each year.

Firefighters are expected to make a full company training exercise and a section training session every month, as well as a full company meeting each month. They are encouraged to seek outside training, and to assist with non-fire activities such as public relations events, equipment and building upkeep, etc. Click Here for more information on becoming a firefighter.
